Daniel has an extensive background in engineering, having driven the development of specialized modules for offshore platforms, scrubbers, and the industrialisation of WindWings. He has held roles such as Mechanical Engineer, Technical Project Manager, and Mechanical & Hydraulics Manager. Currently, Daniel is the Head of Vessel Optimisation, focusing on securing excellent product and project delivery.
Daniel began his career in the maritime sector as a mechanical engineer in 2007, working with Roro equipment. In 2012, he moved to Norway to work on offshore EPC projects, eventually progressing to a technical project manager role where he was responsible for specifications, design, calculations, and manufacturing of specialized modules for top side offshore platforms.
In 2017, Daniel returned to Sweden and joined MMT as mechanical engineer. By 2018, he had taken on the role of manager for mechanical engineering during the ramp-up for scrubbers. During this expansion, he was responsible for the mechanical scope of product design standardization, setting up new manufacturers in Europe and Asia, and ensuring the quality of the scrubbers' manufacturing.
Daniel became involved in the WindWings project in 2021 and took on the role of Mechanical & Hydraulics manager in 2023. In this role, he played a crucial part in developing the WindWings conceptinto a manufacturable product, overseeing specifications and quality assurancefor suppliers and manufacturers.
In 2024, Daniel joined Vessel Optimization as Head of BL, focusing on securing excellent product and project delivery throughout the entire process.
